Our History
INTENSACARE is a residential group home for individuals with diverse abilities. Located in Central Virginia, our fully furnished and DBHDS licensed community-based residential homes provide a clean, safe and structured environment for our clients. INTENSACARE was founded by two Critical Care Registered Nurses and a Healthcare Administrator in 2020 to help provide a better life for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Since then, we have specialized in medical supports that adapts to the changing needs of those we serve.

To enrich the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by fostering independence, promoting successful integration into the community, and providing a healthy living environment.
